Tiny house, single-family home, multi-family home: Which type of housing is right for me?

Rising construction costs, limited land availability, and new lifestyles—the question of how we want to live today and in the future is more relevant than ever. The comparison provided by the Tiny House Association can help clarify this issue.

The classic single-family home remains a popular housing model. While it offers plenty of privacy and opportunities for personalization, it also involves significant costs.

But what housing options offer better alternatives?

There are multi-family homes. They are efficiently designed, reduce construction and development costs, and create diverse living spaces.

Tiny house communities offer a combination of privacy and community. Compact and cost-effective, tiny houses open up new possibilities. They combine independent living with communal structures.

The nationwide Tiny House Association, based in Karlsruhe, recently published a comparison of the three housing types mentioned. It simply addresses the question: Which type of housing is best suited to my life situation?

Anyone who wants to experience the variety of tiny houses should visit NEW HOUSING from June 26 to 28 at the Karlsruhe Exhibition Center. There, visitors can expect around 80 exhibitors and more than 30 tiny houses, modular homes, and more.
