In Germany, more and more settlements with mini houses are being built. Many already exist, and more are in the planning stages. Here is an overview.

Tiny house village for senior citizens in the Sauerland region
- Eight houses
- For senior citizens
- Special feature: Elderly people or those in need of care have direct access to the retirement home here. In addition, their relatives are allowed to move into the tiny house with them.

- Since 2023
- Current status: 15 houses
- Up to 25 houses plus community house possible.

- Four of these are holiday homes for rent to holidaymakers

Dominikus-Ringeisen-Werk Ursberg
Spread across around a dozen tiny houses, people with intellectual disabilities or mental illness live here – completely independently. Each of the small wooden buildings offers everything a person needs to live on around 35 square metres. If necessary, the residents are supported by everyday companions from the Dominikus-Ringeisen-Werk.
